I wrote this song when I was a teenager hanging out at Blues On The Mall. I was always inspired by what WLAV put together for their line up. I've seen some truly amazing shows for free due to their efforts.

Growing up watching shows I wanted to play the Rosa Parks Circle but wasn't sure how to go about it.

I asked Ralston Bowles as he was hustling cd's how to play on stage and he said give me a cd. I went back home and started working on figuring out how to record an album.

While watching a show at the circle I had a song come to my head. It featured horns and had a blues/funk style groove to it. It always stuck with me and I was finally able to capture it right on this album and play it at the circle years later.

The song is about not getting caught up in the trends of everyday life.
*All song titles on our albums will go together to create a poem by themselves and combined. The first album was arranged in this way and our next album Do You will be as well...
